A Local Produce Market is held throughout the summer season, usually on the first Thursday of the month. There, you can meet the people who've grown, made or prepared the fresh fish, vegetables, butter, fudge, loaves, cakes, hot pasties and real ales.

Of course, when it’s not a market day, there is still plenty of opportunity to buy fresh produce from local shops, farm stalls and fishermen.
